A Phase II Randomized Controlled Trial of Soluble Fiber Supplementation for Asthma Opening Soon


The overall goal of this study is to determine whether fiber supplementation in children with Asthma leads to better asthma outcomes. If you participate in the study you will take a questionnaire and potentially ingest soluble fiber with a normal diet. Blood, nasal wash and stool will be collected pre- and post-fiber consumption. This a study presented by Southwest Health Equity Research Collaborative (SHERC), in collaboration with NAU and Phoenix Children's Hospital.
